TI – Spring Lunch, 4 March 2017

Twenty-two of us met for our Spring Lunch on 4 March in Lugano with traditional roast lamb and mint sauce as the pièce de résistance.  It was good to see Nina and Max Hofman, who had braved the terrible weather to be with us, as well as four members who had arrived from Zurich and further afield by train.  This journey has become considerably easier with the new tunnel which has lopped off a good 30 minutes.  We had a most lively lunch with much laughter and good humour and a few bars of music after coffee when the Chaplain of St Edwards, Father Nigel Gibson, noticed that there was a  piano.
